A Challenge Taken on Together
On Sunday 6th September, five friends took on the New Forest Triathlon in aid of Elsie’s Rose – Ben, Dave, Chris, Billy and Sash.
Among them was our co-founder Ben, taking on the swim, bike and run alongside four friends who wanted to do their part for families facing the kind of loss no parent should ever have to experience. The challenge was no small undertaking – a 1.2km swim, a 1km transition run, a 34km bike ride and a 10km run. All five gave it everything on the day, and every one of them should be proud of what they achieved.
A Result to Be Proud Of
We are overwhelmed to share that together, the team raised an incredible £2,657.
This remarkable amount means we can provide counselling to eight bereaved parents, giving them the professional support they need to process the darkest days of their lives.
Thank You From All of Us
Ben, Dave, Chris, Billy and Sash – thank you for helping Elsie make a difference 💖
We’d also like to thank everyone who sponsored the team, cheered them on, or shared their page. Support like this is what allows Elsie’s Rose to keep reaching families at the moment they need us most, in Elsie’s memory.
