A Marathon of a Different Kind
On Saturday 29th August, Edd Johnson took on a challenge unlike any other – 12 hours straight of darts at The Dorset Dart Shop in Poole, all in aid of Elsie’s Rose.
Edd is a friend of ours, and he wanted to do his part to support families facing the kind of loss no parent should ever have to experience. Twelve hours of throwing darts is no small feat, and Edd gave it everything, all in Elsie’s name.
An Incredible Result
We are overwhelmed to share that Edd raised an incredible £1,990 for Elsie’s Rose.
This remarkable total means we can provide 13 supermarket vouchers to bereaved families, easing the immediate pressure of everyday costs during their darkest days.
The day was made even more special thanks to The Dorset Dart Shop and EJ Plastering & Drylining, who generously donated a set of Luke Littler prizes – a dartboard, surround and “load out” darts – for a live prize draw. Every £5 donated on the day earned a supporter an entry, turning generosity into excitement as well as impact.
A Huge Thank You
Edd, thank you for helping Elsie make a difference 💖
We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to The Dorset Dart Shop and EJ Plastering & Drylining for their generosity, and to everyone who donated, cheered Edd on, or shared his page. It’s because of supporters like you that we can keep showing up for families when they need us most – all in the name of Elsie.
